Thrinacia Atlas Hosting Questions

Thrinacia Atlas uses several technologies on backend including Python, Perl and PostgreSQL. It exposes REST API to users to consume on all standard plans and Enterprise plans. Enterprise plans allow for full modification of source code on backend and frontend. Standard plans allow for modification of source code on frontend only.

Hosting is done via a mix of providers including Google Cloud, Stackpath and OVH. The hosting on all standard plans is done via multi-tenant infrastructure (fully isolated and secure containers or instances). The enterprise plans offer ability to host platform on fully dedicated servers or nodes.

Certain plans including Scale plan and Enterprise plans allow for Geo Hosting where physical location / world region of instance/container or dedicated server can be chosen.

Automated backups for all instances/containers on standard plans are taken once a day and retained for up to 30 days, then rotated. Enterprise plans allow for custom backup protocols.

Frontend code is currently cached via CDN. Backend REST API endpoints are not cached as results are dynamic, however we are looking into dynamic caching options.

Standard plans are auto scaled based on demand up to maximum allowed resource usage as it’s multi tenant infrastructure. If you anticipate very heavy traffic usage you may wish to look into purchasing an Enterprise plan.
