Thrinacia Infrastructure Upgrade – Performance, Isolation & Developer Control

We’re excited to announce a major milestone for Thrinacia.

All client websites and accounts have now been successfully migrated to our new cloud infrastructure. This upgrade represents a significant step forward in performance, security, developer flexibility, and long-term platform sustainability.

The legacy cloud environment is now being phased out and will be permanently shut down.

Below is a full overview of what this upgrade means for you.

What Has Changed?

Every Thrinacia instance now runs on a modernized, fully isolated cloud environment designed for:

  • Faster provisioning

  • Improved security

  • Better developer workflows

  • Modern Node.js compatibility

  • Full resource isolation per subscription plan

This is not just a hardware refresh, it’s a complete infrastructure evolution.

Rapid Instance Provisioning (Under 3 Seconds)

New instances can now be provisioned in under 3 seconds.

This enables:

  • Rapid deployment for new clients

  • Faster scaling during campaigns

  • Instant sandbox or staging environments

  • Clean environment resets when needed

Infrastructure should never slow down innovation, and now it won’t.

Full Resource Isolation & Security

Each website instance now runs in its own local environment with strict usage limits aligned to your subscription plan.

This provides:

  • Dedicated resource allocation

  • Improved security boundaries

  • Zero cross-account interference

  • Predictable performance

Your project runs in a fully isolated environment, no shared runtime conflicts.

Direct SSH Access to Your Instance

Developers can now:

  • Build directly inside their instance

  • Roll back to previous Web UI versions

  • Modify frontend server rules

  • Customize build behavior

  • Run development workflows locally inside their instance

  • Work with git repositories directly

This introduces a much more flexible and professional development workflow, ideal for technical teams and advanced users.

We will be releasing updated documentation shortly covering:

  • Developer workflows

  • Build processes

  • Deployment patterns

  • Rollback procedures

  • Custom frontend configuration

Web UI Build Stack: Node 24+ & Gulp 4

The new infrastructure ships with upgraded build tooling:

  • Fully compatible with Node.js 24+ (Krypton LTS)

  • Upgraded to Gulp 4

  • Optimized build files aligned with current LTS standards

Legacy Node versions are no longer required for the existing core Web UI.

This means:

  • Cleaner builds

  • Better long-term maintainability

  • Modern dependency compatibility

  • Reduced security risks from outdated runtimes

Your development environment is now aligned with modern standards.

Automatic SSL for Custom Domains

Custom domains now benefit from:

  • Automatic SSL issuance

  • Secure HTTPS by default

  • Faster domain provisioning

  • Simplified DNS integration

For clients using custom domains:

We have already sent notification emails to those who may have been affected by the migration.

If you are using a custom domain and have not received an update, please contact us and we will assist you promptly.

Our team is happy to verify DNS or SSL configuration if needed.

Faster Underlying Hardware

Behind the scenes, instances now run on significantly improved hardware.

Benefits include:

  • Faster Web UI builds

  • Improved application responsiveness

  • Lower latency

  • Higher I/O performance

  • Better stability during traffic spikes

This upgrade ensures Thrinacia remains scalable for growth-focused clients.

What Happens to the Legacy Cloud?

The previous infrastructure is being fully phased out.

All active client accounts have already been migrated to the new cloud environment. The old legacy infrastructure will be permanently shut down.

No action is required for most users.

Documentation & Developer Resources

New documentation will be published shortly covering:

  • SSH access setup

  • Deployment and rollback workflows

  • Custom frontend server rule configuration

  • Development best practices

  • Resource limits per subscription tier

Our goal is to provide a clean, transparent, and developer-friendly workflow moving forward.
