Thrinacia uses Nexus for two primary functions: for providing clients with Portal Information and for communicating ticket information. The first part of this blog post will explain how to retrieve your portal information from Nexus and how to log into your website as portal admin with that information. The second part of this blog post will explain how to create and edit tickets for custom work. Tickets can be created for new features, bugs, or existing issues.
1. Portal Information and Login
Go to nexus.thrinacia.com and enter your username and password then click the Login button.
Once you have logged in click on the Wiki tab in the main menu and then click on the Portal Information link.
Click on the URL to your site or copy and paste the URL into another browser window.
Once you have entered your site click the Login button in the top right corner. Use the Admin Username and Admin Password from the Nexus Portal Information to log into your site.
2. Create and Edit Tickets for Custom Work
Two create a new ticket for custom work click on the New Issue tab in the main menu.
Start by selecting what kind of ticket it is, (Bug, Feature, Support) from the Tracker dropdown menu.
Enter the an appropriate name for the ticket in the Subject field.
Write a description of the work that you would like the Thrinacia team to handle.
Select the status of the ticket, (New, In Progress, Resolved, etc.) from the Status dropdown menu.
Select the priority of the ticket, (Low, Normal, High, Urgent, Immediate) from the Priority dropdown menu.
The above are all of the required fields. Please complete as many of the remaining fields, (Assignee, Category, Start Date, Due Date, Prepaid Hours, File Upload, Watchers, etc.) that you have information for. The more information that there is for a particular ticket the easier it is for the Thrinacia team to get started on the issue.
Click the Create button once you are finished editing the ticket.
To view and update your ticket you can click on the Issues tab. Click on the Subject link of the particular ticket that you would like to view. Click on Update near the top right corner and edit the ticket with updated information.
