We have released a new portal tip currency feature which allows you to choose the portal tipping currency used when backers are tipping your portal. By default, the portal tipping currency is set as the currency of your portal account, but with this setting you can change it. Example of different tip currency and contribution currency is shown on contribution UI as per below.
For example: If you are using a CAD Stripe account, then by default, the portal will use CAD as the tipping currency.
If you would like to change the portal tip currency, do the following:
Go to the Administrator Dashboard –> click on Portal Settings –> click on Campaign Settings –> Scroll down to the section called “Campaign Tipping” –> click on “Enable Website Tipping” –> Choose from the dropdown menu at the bottom which tip currency you want to use on your platform.
Selected tip currency will now be the currency used when backers are tipping your portal.
