We are pleased to announce a new portal setting called “Contribution Behaviour”. The setting can be accessed by navigating to portal administration panel -> Portal Settings -> Website Settings.
This setting allows you to control how you want the contributions to be handled as per three given options below.
Option #1 – Allow Registered Users to Contribute Only ( Default )
Option #2 – Allow Guest Contributions Only
Option #3 – Allow Both Registered User and Guest Contribution
When Option #2 or #3 is selected, Guest contributions will kick in immediately or be offered as an option, allowing your backers to contribute without signing up for a registered user account, thus making it easier and simpler to back your project.
If a Guest contribution has been made it will be automatically associated with the portal’s guest account allowing you to view the contribution history.
